Im quite surprised.I knew the xbox brand has become bigger since the 360 but I didnt think one second it was a head of the Playstation.
Congrats to MSFT who (hate them or love them) have done a tremendous job with the 360.
Last gen in EU (maybe except for the UK) , the xbox was even less popular than the gamecube.Playstation was the synonym of console.Every console was a "playstation" no matter the brand on the console lol.

The xbox had a 25 million install base.
The 360 now has 28 milllion t times faster than the xbox.
That means they need new customers.
And where do you think those customers are ? Well old PS gamers.
MSFT are simply good business men.They knew and know if they want to expand the xbox brand they neeed to go beyond the original xbox audience.And 90% of last gens gamers were PS2 gamers.
The 360 in 2008 got : Lost Odyssey , Ninja Gaiden 2 , Fable 2 , Gears of War 2 (outsold MGS4 in ONE MONTH ONLY and WITHOUT Japan), Left 4 Dead , Tales of Vesperia.
Thats great for a console with no games in 2008...
Moreover MSFT officially announced almost all of them in...2008 and not 2005.
So dont worry for the 2009 lineup....since MSFT announces the 2009 lineup in...2009 and not 4 years before.
PS3 sales are ridiculous compared to the 360...

Im interseted in RTS games but being a console gamer I just cant play on a keyboard in front of my PC , simply no fun at all.
Hope this turns out good so I can finnaly give RTS games a real try
in last place and NOT catching up.

L4D is a huge hit on 360.
I dont think Valve and EA need to bring it to the PS3.
And anyway it will probably flop.I mean PS3 owners didnt buy Res 2 at Xmas why would they buy L4D months or a year after the 360 version.

well in case you dont know the 360 kicking the PS3's butt in USA....and EUROPE in 2008 already.
So expect it to be even worse in 2009.
It took Sony a 200$ price cut.... 200$!!! in 2007 and a whole bunch of bundles (Motorstorm , Uncharted etc)
and
MGS4 , LBP , Res 2 , GT5P , Motorrstorm 2, Socom , Home in 2008
to be in comfortably seated in last position.
